The Arlen production plant in Dzierżoniów has a new look! We are modernizing production facilities and rebuilding the Polish textile industry for the benefit of the Polish economy and the local community!
On September 18th of this year, the Arlen Group celebrated the 30th anniversary of its operations and the revitalization of the TAILOR ATG production plant in Dzierżoniów.
The Polish textile industry was our pride in Europe. In recent years, supported by cheap production from Asia, it was unable to develop further. “Today we are returning to our roots,” said Andrzej Tabaczyński, President of Arlen S.A., during the ceremony. “Local production facilities are becoming the foundation of safety in many industries, and the Polish government supports local producers with #localcontent. This is an opportunity for plants like the one in Dzierżoniów. Arlen intends to seize this opportunity by expanding its production facilities for the benefit of Poland and the local community,” added President Tabaczyński.
The opening ceremony of the modernized plant was attended by, among others, Dariusz Kucharski, Mayor of Dzierżoniów, and Grzegorz Kosowski, County Head of Dzierżoniów, were among the event’s hosts, Andrzej Tabaczyński, President of the Management Board of ARLEN SA, and Wojciech Bośka, Head of the subsidiary TAILOR ATG. The meeting was an opportunity to highlight the role Arlen plays in the textile and clothing industry and the local economy, creating stable jobs.
In Dzierżoniów, a growing number of entrepreneurs are developing their businesses, and employees can choose from a variety of employers. Companies are modernizing and investing in innovation, which only increases the competitiveness of our economy. I welcome every such manifestation of creative development, concluded Dariusz Kucharski, Mayor of Dzierżoniów.
The Arlen Group plant in Dzierżoniów was acquired by the company in 2018. Today, it employs approximately 200 people and specializes in the production of clothing for uniformed services. The history of the facility dates back to 1946, when the 9th of May Tailoring Cooperative was established. Currently, the Dzierżoniów plant is one of four production plants of the Arlen Group.
