Amfori BSCI is an audit standard developed by Amfori, a global business association for open and sustainable trade. Its primary goal is to promote socially responsible supply chain management in international trade.
During the Amfori BSCI audit, a range of areas were examined, including:
- Reasonable working hours, fair pay, health and safety.
- Employee engagement and protection, including freedom of association, non-discrimination, fair pay and working hours, as well as health and safety at work.
- Environmental protection and ethical business practices.
- Legal employment and the absence of forced labour.
- Corporate social responsibility management systems and their cascading effect throughout the supply chain. Prohibition of child labour and protection of young workers.
Amfori BSCI is not only a step towards better management, but also an opportunity to be part of a global movement towards a more sustainable future.
